Catherine Cafe Plage moved to Pigeon Beach English Harbor. . A well respected establishment which has been in operation for 18 years serves up French cuisine. Island Exploring
Half Moon Bay
If you are looking for privacy, this beach located on the southwestern coast of the island is your spot as it’s very secluded. Since it’s a 45 minute drive from English Harbor getting to the beach seems like an eternity but once you arrive it will be worth it as you will be blown away once your eyes behold the crystal blue water and pinkish sand and breathtaking beauty. When you first arrive you will be greeted by few food vendors but there are no facilities.
Carpenters Rock Trail
A favorite spot for many Tourist is Lookout Trail to Shirley Heights because of the beautiful view so don’t be surprised if you are the only one on Carpenters Rock Trail. To locate the trailhead just proceed to the end of Galleon Beach at Freeman’s Bay in English Harbor and there you will see a trail sign. You will be greeted with a breathtaking view of Fort Charlotte and if you keep walking along the trail by the cliff you will see how wide the ocean is and catch beautiful views of Carpenters Rock and Nanton Point.
Stingray City
If you enjoy snorkeling, then here’s your chance to be with stingrays up close in their natural surroundings. You will get a chance to feed and tOuch these giant stingrays. Also included is a short ride by speedboat to pontoon near a coral reef which is a popular gathering spot for many friendly Sourhern Rays. You will be able to take selfies while feeding and petting these rays.

Betty’s Hope
If you are more into educational site seeing tours then Betty’s Hope is the place for you as they provide excursions which are historical in nature. A sugar plantation dating back to 1651 showcases a restored mill tower along with an on-site museum that educates interested parties about sugar cane milling and slavery in Antigua.
